Hello everybody,
Woochi got some new features and lots of improvements last week! Here's an overview:
Speed! - Woochi searches now have allmost instantaneous, subsecond response times.
NEW! Wine Prices - There are now over 60,000 wine prices in Woochi. On the average one wine in three in the database now has price information. Online Prices from wine shops are shown for all the wines we have information about.
Indicative and Average Price Indicators- Woochi has a system that calculates an Indicative Price for every wine, even if we have no Online Prices from shops. You will find this very useful to compare the price of different wines, or different vintages of the same wine, even different volumes of the same vintage. If a wine has many Online Prices, Woochi calculates an Average Price Indicator to average out the variance between different shops. Read more about this on the 'Wine Prices' page on Woochi.
NEW! Wine Event Calendar - Our calendar keeps track of events related to wine, such as fairs, auctions, tastings. Wine Shops, Wineries and Clubs can all add events - just contact us at info@woochi.com.
Wine Shop Locator - Search or Browse Woochi for a wine shop near your home, anywhere on the planet.
Wine Finder - This feature lets you search for wines by country and by price range. This should be a much anticipated feature. This is just a very simple first version - we have great plans to develop this in the near future.
Improved layout - We made improved the look and feel of Woochi, which will make it even nicer to use!
